WSCL Rules of play

For WSCL, we are using the most common and basic rules. 

• Boards 27 feet apart, from front edge to front edge.
• Flip a coin to see which team throws first.
• Players throw from behind the foul line, which is the imaginary line extending from the front of the board.
• 1 point for bags that land and stay on the board. Bags that touch the ground at any time are disqualified and should be removed from play. 
• 3 points for bags that go through the hole. 
• Points are tallied based on the difference of points scored between teams (only one team scores points per round). 
• Teams need to use WSCL supplied boards and bags.
• Any fouls result in a do-over (no other penalty). 
• All teams use WSCL-supplied boards and bags (no bringing your own).
• First team to 21 points wins. For WSCL, there is no mercy rule, no penalty for going over 21, and the winning team does not need to win by two.
